The Board of Control is composed of the Mayor, Safety-Service Director, and Finance Director, with the Mayor presiding. The Board reviews contract bids, prepares estimates of expenditures and revenues, and submits them to City Council. Decisions are reached with a majority vote of all members. Records of all Board Meetings are maintained; in addition, they are open to the public and the press.
