Established in 1988, The Board of Utility Appeals deals with utility related concerns referenced by an extensive list of Water Division Regulations. It is a five member group with each serving a two year term. The Chairperson of the board is the Public Works Director of the City. Three members are appointed by the Mayor, and all of them must be approved by City Council. The fifth member is the President of City Council. Members are not compensated for their service.
