Janet has been involved in economic development for over 20 years.  She began her career with the Richland Economic Development Corporation in 1983 and actively participated in all aspects of economic development on a county-wide basis. She also spent one year on the utility side of economic development as Economic Development Manager for Columbia Gas of Ohio. 

In her current position as Assistant Economic Director for the City of Mansfield, Janet works with Tim Bowersock in efforts to retain and expand the city’s employment base, while continuing to attract new sources of primary employment and investment to the city.  Janet’s experience provides the necessary communication skills to widen the knowledge of all parties, both internal and external, about the City of Mansfield and its resources.
