The Department of Safety-Service is under the supervision of Interim-Director Philip Messer. The Division of Police, Division of Fire, and Division of Public Safety Communication Center are in the Department of Service Safety.
Division of Police Mission Statement
To deliver to the citizens of Mansfield a professional police service dedicated to improving the quality of life through a community partnership which promotes safe, secure neighborhoods. The guiding Principle of operation for accomplishing the Division's mission is founded in the Latin phrase, "Pro Bono Publico," for the public good.
Division of Fire Mission Statement
It is the team mission of the Mansfield Division of Fire to provide professional, high quality fire, emergency medical and specialty services to the community with pride and dedication, resulting in the saving of life, property and the environment.
Division of Public Safety Communication Center
Our mission is to provide an open line of reliable and accurate communication between the Public and the Safety forces that protect and serve the community in order to provide a safer environment in which to live.
