An integral piece of the Safe Routes to School Program is ongoing evaluation to ensure we are meeting the needs of our community.

Since 2007, each spring a survey is distributed to all parents to assist us in our strategies. The results of the “parent survey” are posted on the National Safe Routes to School (saferoutesinfo.org), as part of our agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation for Safe Routes to School funding. This website provides information on programs throughout the United States, with strategies, results, successes and much more.

We also distribute to neighborhood organizations our Walkability/Bikeability surveys. Each of these surveys, assist the Task Force in identifying, prioritizing, and strategizing with the result of making our community a better and safer place to live.

We hope you will take the time to help us identify areas for improvement by filling out the survey’s and submitting them to the Task Force. Together we can make a difference and remember...
