The Income Tax Department has staff available to assist you in completing your city income tax return. The Filing deadline for the City of Mansfield is April 15. Filing is mandatory for all residents. For residents with rental or wage income the tax rate is 1.75% with a credit of up to 1% for taxes paid to other cities. You may obtain forms by calling (419) 755-9711, or by downloading them from this website. You may send completed forms to the address listed below. Drop boxes are also available on the 1st and 3rd floors of the Municipal Building.

You Must File

• If you work in the city of Mansfield and Tax is not withheld by your employer.
• If you are a resident of the city and at least 18 years of age.

• If you are neither a resident of the city of Mansfield nor work in the city.
• If you are a non-resident of the City of Mansfield, but work in the city and taxes are withheld by your City of Mansfield employer.
• If you have not reached the age of 18 (eighteen) by December 31 of the tax Year.
