The mission of the IT division is to promote efficient technology to lower the cost of government and improve the transparency of government to the citizens we proudly serve.
Overview
The City of Mansfield's Information Technology Division is an Inter-Service department which provides technological vision and support to all other departments within the City. The IT Division personnel are responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining and City's (20+) Windows network servers, (250+) Windows PCs, and the IP Based network infrastructure (LAN/WAN). Approximately 450 city employees utilize this network. The City’s Data Processing employees maintain a mainframe iSeries\400.
