The Mansfield Fire Department welcomes the opportunity to connect with the community through fire station tours and public event appearances. These programs help educate residents about fire safety, emergency response, and the role of firefighters in protecting our community.

Fire Station Tours

Fire station group tours provide a behind-the-scenes look at the daily operations of the fire department. Visitors will have the chance to:

  • See fire trucks and emergency equipment up close.
  • Meet firefighters and learn about their duties.
  • Learn fire safety tips and emergency preparedness.

How to Schedule a Fire Station Tour

  • Tours are available for schools, daycares, scout groups, community organizations.
  • Group size is limited to ensure a safe and engaging experience.
  • All tour requests must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
  • Tours typically last 30-45 minutes and are subject to firefighter availability.

Request the Fire Department at Your Event

The Mansfield Fire Department participates in community events, school programs, and public safety initiatives throughout the year. Firefighters can bring fire trucks, provide fire safety education, and engage with the public at approved events.

Event Guidelines

  • Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance.
  • The event must be educational, public safety-focused, or community-driven.
  • Fire trucks and crews attending events must remain available for emergency calls, which means they may have to leave suddenly if dispatched.
  • If you need dedicated medical or fire protection coverage for an event, these services may be provided for a fee.
  • Requests are subject to fire department staffing and availability.
