Aurelio is a Texas native but has lived in Mansfield since he was a child. He is a Mansfield Senior High graduate and owner of “La LUNA” which is a downtown cultural space that showcases local music and art. 

Aurelio is the Community Organizer for the North End Community Improvement Collaborative, and is the founder/coach of Troupe Flow, which is a dance troupe comprised of adults with developmental disabilities. He is a proud member of Mansfield Rising, Richland County Coalition on Housing & Homelessness, Mansfield Art Sector, Richland County Regional Planning Commission, Homeless Task Force, and Hispanos Unidos de Mansfield.

Aurelio is honored to serve the 5th Ward and is proud to be the first Hispanic and Independent Mansfield City Council member.
