My name is Eleazer Akuchie, better known as Reverend El Akuchie. I’m a long-time citizen of Mansfield and advocate for homes and families in our community. I have been married for 35 years and am a father of 5. I’ve traveled the world-leading projects in Canada, Grenada, Jamaica, El Salvador, India, and my native country, Nigeria.

Some of my accomplishments include a Bachelor of Theology degree and a Master of Counseling and Missions degree. I am the former Executive Director of UMADAOP. I was also a Drug and Alcohol Therapist and Juvenile Probation officer/counselor. Currently, I’m the Executive Director of Richland Community Prayer Network and Associate Pastor at Fusion Churches.

A great city starts with great neighborhoods. I plan to work to develop a community of skilled talent.  We need to preserve safe neighborhoods and community parks by supporting police and safety. I’m going to focus on the matters that matter.
