Subject: Return to Duty
The Mansfield Division of Police has completed an initial administrative
review of the officer involved shooting which occurred on August 4, 2021,
at 3340 Peterson Rd. Effective September 21, 2021, Officer Paul Webb
will be reinstated to full duty.
The primary investigation is being conducted by the Ohio Bureau of
Criminal Investigation (Ohio BCI) and is still pending. Once Ohio BCI’s
independent investigation is completed, it will be presented to the
Richland County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
